Chardonnay Assisted Living management team has a combined 30+ years of experience in elder care.
Administrator – Ashley Rodriguez

Ashley has been an administrator for 8 years and has worked in health care over 25 years with 16 of those years in elder care. Ashley started working as a pharmacy tech in 1996 then transitioned into elder care as a caregiver in 2006. Shortly after starting as a caregiver, she was moved into the role of assisted living manager where she realized elder care is her passion and quickly became an assisted living administrator. It truly brings her joy that her resident’s families have peace of mind knowing that their loved one(s) are well cared for.
Community Manager – Makayla Dalos
Makayla started her health care journey fresh out of high school and it is where her heart has remained. Within the last 12 years, Makayla has helped shape the lives and warm the hearts of many different people. She started with providing cares and friendship to folks of all ages with intellectual disabilities and behavioral challenges. During that time, she learned many things, challenged herself and eventually climbed the responsibility ladder and became a Facility Manager for several years.
In 2020, Makayla joined the Chardonnay family during the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. A few years later, she was offered a position as Administrative Assistant and then later went on to be Facility manager of the now, three Chardonnay buildings.
During her career in healthcare, Makayla has found that her passion has always been “People” and wanting the very best lives for each and every one of them.
Outside of working, Makayla loves spending her time with her Boyfriend Patrick and their water-loving Chesapeake, Derp. They enjoy their time in the outdoors; Fishing, hunting, concerts, and the most recent obsession, gardening and canning home goods.
Registered Nurse – Shirley Carpenter
With over 30 years of nursing experience, I’m proud to be part of the best team in Idaho. I began my journey as an LPN and, after 27 years, took the next step to become an RN—something I’m incredibly grateful for. My background includes 2 years in ICU and hospital ER, 1 year in a psychiatric hospital, 9 years as a unit director for a traumatic brain injury unit, and 11 years in home health and hospice. I have a special passion for geriatric nursing and find true joy in bringing a smile to someone’s face. My mission has always been to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
